TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT! TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT! TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!

Our communities are engaged in intentional and deliberate assertion of our power.

We are designing alternative practices, building institutions and infrastructure, imagining and changing our neighborhoods.

We are centering people and spaces that traditional investment or development lenses do not want to see.

We are facilitating our wild and beautiful ambitions.

We are doing us, uninterrupted.

Public Assembly Day 1
Day 1 of the Public Assembly began in a spirit of grounding and orientation. From the first words of welcome, participants were invited to imagine the Assembly as both rehearsal and experiment: a space to frame Black futures through power, policy, and imagination, and to surface the voices already shaping those futures in real time. The morning wove together study, reflection, and exchange, moving from big-picture framing into sessions on art, solidarity economy, and strategies for keeping Black wealth in Black hands.

The afternoon carried that momentum into practice. Participants moved between conversations on narrative power, land as resistance, faith-led economic justice, and the fundamentals of impact investing—alongside an unconferenced nap that honored rest as part of our collective infrastructure. Day 1 closed in joy, with activations and a welcome reception that transformed study into celebration, and possibility into relation.
